Quetta

Quetta is the largest city and the provincial capital of the Baluchistan Province of Pakistan.  The city total population according to the census 1998 is about 638,896. The area of city is 2,653 sq. km.

Quetta is one of the important military stations of the country, occupying a vital and strategic position on account of the fact that the boundaries of Iran and Afghanistan meet here and the Bolan Pass lies on the important lines of communication.
